"This was an amazing stay. Quiet and peaceful. View was somewhat obscured by the fog during the winter but you can still see the valley below and rice terraces when the fog lifts a little. Water pressure is good in the bathroom and there is hot water. To keep warm in the room, there is a small portable heater (a bit noisy so didn’t use it when sleeping) and when sleeping, just the electric blanket is enough to keep warm and have a comfortable night’s sleep. "The owners could not have been more responsive to every need. If you visit Sa Pa / Fansi Pan, you must stay at the Clay House. I have rarely relaxed to this extent, and the food / drinks were outstanding. The only negative comment about the Clay House, is that we had to leave."
