"The staff were all wonderful. The property is well kept. The breakfast at Ikena was excellent every day. The beach was fun, but it was red flag 6 of 7 days so using kayaks, etc was not allowed. There is a separate adults only pool if that is important to you. This is a good location to explore the big island. We rented a car and made day trips to Hilo, Volcano National Park, Akaka Falls, Rainbow Falls, and south to Kona. "
