"Great place to stay! Steps away from the beach. Loved the pool with kids pool being a bonus. Having a wide selection of TV channels was great. Watched some Olympics. Plenty of dining options available with the night market being our favorite choice. The bus stop to Georgetown and other attractions right in front. Would recommend!"

"the places' location is great, the view from our 2-room apartment to the sea is stunning. While I kind of liked the setup of the Apartment some proper and professional renovation would do a lot of good, and overall cleaning would help. The major problem was that there were plenty of creepy crawlers and my daughter got bitten or whatever on the arm that we had to see a specialist at a hospital. "We really couldn't have asked for much more"

"We had a lovely time at Lilian’s place following a week stay in Georgetown. Straits Quay has a quieter feel with plenty of restaurants and walkable area next to the sea. It’s further away from the central activities but not a problem to get a grab for transport. There is a convenient grocery located immediately outside the condo residence. We could also walk easily to Lotus. Lilian was very accommodating to our check in and informative about the surrounding areas. Great time."

"The location was great and convenient. Feel safe when return to apartment late at night (Security guard at the main road and by the main entrance by the lift). Enjoy the pool and playground at level 5. Some improvement needes on this : Bin linear, toilet paper and kitchen utensils was limited for a week stay (eg only 1 cup & glass for a studio room). Stove and bathroom light was broken."

"I enjoyed staying here very much. The apartment was very clean and I felt very safe. The view was amazing and I watched the sunrise every morning. The swimming pool was great. For me, the location was perfect. The bus stop was very close and there were plenty of restaurants, cafes and some great supermarkets which made it very convenient . "We were sent to a 1 bedroom apartment instead of 2 as originally booked for first 3 nights as the excuse was that it needed repairs. However, we met the family checking out when we were checking in on the checkin day.. Although the cleaner did a good job tiding the apartment, there was mound and ceiling leak strains . "We absolutely loved this hotel - the room was spacious and well kept and stocked. Shout out to our daily room attendant, Momin who was very pleasant and responsive/perceptive to our needs. Loved the pool and the garden and whole property including the spa where you get your services in your own mini villa - that’s luxury! The pool was also amazing with excellent service for food and drinks and towels. Every morning as soon as they saw us they would walk over with the towels and set up the loungers for us. When it got busy we noticed that the attendants would work hard to find loungers for everyone including bringing chairs over from another area to the pool area. Saved the best for last - the food is incredible - the selection especially of local foods/dishes and taste! Shout out to the dining room manager, Vijay who seemed to be there all the time and working hard to provide the best service to us guests. For us, this was a hotel that clearly goes above and beyond so kudos - keep it up, we will definitely be back and strongly recommend it to family and friends!"

"Our room was in front of linens storage. Probably if the staffs leave the door open, an alarm rings. One night the alarm was kept going hours. It was annoying. And the swimming pool is small. Except for these, the stay at Hompton was quite amusing. Staffs are really friendly. Great Viva Foodcourt is right in front"
