"I am rating this three star only because the hotel staff worked really hard to remedy all the problems we faced other wise this would have been one star. We had reserved a three bedroom apartment for two nights, but everything went wrong from the start, from a non working parking gate key to a broken AC in one of the bedroom. "The first unit i was in was a nightmare. Unit full of ants, washroom smelled like sewer all the time. I moved to different unit later on which was good. The property manager was helpful. Overall experience was poor"

"If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. "I’d give Ambong 11/10 stars if I could. We had such an amazing stay for 8 nights in a deluxe sunset pool villa. The service was excellent, the staff were amazing and friendly, the food was superb! We loved all the food at Rimba and the Pegaga vegan cafe on site. The Amaala spa was great - had multiple massages. The Amaala Signature 90 mins treatment was great. "We stayed at the Park Royal for 4 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed the staff were fantastic. They really could not have been more friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded in our room which was great. We generally had breakfast at the hotel and the range of different foods to choose from was incredible. We had a couple of meals in the evening during our stay and they were equally as good, particularly the Beach BBQ which was superb. Although all the staff were superb, special mention to Fan at the infinity pool on floor 5 and to our lovely cleaning lady, Liza who did a great job during our stay. The manager met us on departure and even provided a driver to take us to the airport for our flight home. Overall we had a fabulous time at the Park Royal and look forward to returning soon."

"Amazing stay, a lovely property. 10/10. Had a slight upset stomach but staff was amazing and very helpful. Would highly recommend, loads of amenities and great for kids. Pools are great food is 10/10 and the staff are really helpful and friendly. Thanks."
