"The House was a lot bigger than expected so much room to spread out. The view was fantastic, my wife is a photographer and spent the early morning on the beach taking pictures. It was close enough to town to be able to get groceries yet far enough out to feel secluded. Can’t wait for the next time we are in the Shelton area and need a place to stay. "

"My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for a 4-day weekend. The home was just as advertised, with all the amenities provided to make our stay comfortable. The owner was great to work with. Just love this area to relax and unwind. We would definitely like to rent this home again!"

"Winter stay with 8 (60) plus adults. Loved the game area and large tables for card games and dining. We even did a polar plunge. Location is close to restaurants and a casino. So much to do. Only suggestion would be to repair loose heater vent in kitchen floor. "

"This was a great place for our family of 4 to stay for four nights while in Olympia to visit my brother. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood, with a couple of great casual restaurants and a donut shop within a few minutes walk."

"Clean property, lovely set-up and beautiful view of the lake. Close enough to downtown Olympia, groceries and restaurants to be convenient, but in a quiet neighborhood to be restful. Host was helpful and responsive without being an overbearing presence. Would stay here again in the future. "

"Wandering trails through the woods with a little stream babbling along. Lots of spots to sit and ponder or relax. Plus a cozy cabin to curl up in. What's not to love."

"This was a great stay for us as we attended a nearby conference. House was clean and well furnished. Some cleenex would be nice but other than that the kitchen was stocked with the essentials and it was quiet and easy to access through brightly lit outdoor walkways. Beds were plush and comfy! Thank you very much! Vrbo and Expedia didn't give much details so communicating with the host was necessary and he was very responsive."
