"We had an unique experience staying here. Shoes ares kept in lockers next to hotel entrance. We walked on the soft, comfortable tatami throughout the hotel common area. The hotel provides mechanic car park - which is helpful, so we don't have to worry about our car being subject to snow or cold. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The staff make for a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left staff were attentive. We enjoyed an in room with indoor onsen for two nights. The restaurant meal offerings are authentic Japanese and wonderfully presented. One of the highlights of our two week trip to Japan. We took the bus to the local castle and art museum. The facility is off the beaten path but there is a Lawson store close by. Taxi needed to go to and from the local train station. Be sure to book taxi early as the local taxi company is quite busy in the morning. Wifi and fridge worked well. Be prepared to sleep on a futon-we were satisfied with that. This place is clean as any I've seen. Evening music presentation by local accomplished musicians a real treat. Come here to relax!"
