"This was a lovely location- right across from an absolutely gorgeous beach! The owners were very responsive and left a great book with hikes, restaurant menus and more. Sunrise at Pillbox is a must. The downstairs was a bit small and the master bedroom was reached by walking through the smaller bedroom but both were very nice and this wasn’t a an issue for our family. Overall wonderful!!"

"We had a great time while staying here. The drive way was a bit hard to find at first but once you find it its easy to find again. It also has a little pull off from the main road which makes getting into the drive way much easier. We actaully saw Giant manta Rays feeding out in the ocean from the back porch and woke up to 6 peacocks walking around the front yard one morning. "Terrie is such a warm and welcoming host, treats you like Ohana. Excellent location and very nicely supplied with everything you need. Just bring your Aloha spirit and you will enjoy immensely. "The cottage itself is the second story of the two-story unit. The inside is very attractively decorated Hawaiian beach motif. It hadeverything you could need in a beach apartment with chairs, towels, umbrellas, body boards, etc. masks fins. snorkel. The apartment itself is a bit of a sauna, it’s soaks in that sun and with the humidity of the beach it is very warm and sticky. The owner has yet to fix two windows that would allow more Breeze into the apartment, I really hope she fixes them now...
