"We stayed one night at Hotel on the Cay so we could catch the sunrise at point udall. The property is under renovation so the pool was closed. They are working on remodeling guests rooms also. They only food was at a beach bbq shack but the food was very good. Not many guests so it was very quiet and we had an Amazing view of ocean. A complementary water taxi takes you from town to the hotel. It is very close to all the bars, restaurants and night life. We would go back and stay again. "

"To be honest I was nervous after reading some old reviews on this property. But I was not disappointed!! Yes they are remodeling but that never got in the way of our great service. Room was clean. We had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and eating utensils. Oh and that air conditioner is cold. Ocean view. Staff is amazing! Only thing we can’t give a 10 on is water pressure in the shower. But it worked and if you wait just a minute it will heat up and there is plenty of hot water. Oh and we never seen one bug in our room. Now that is pretty great considering you are on an island. A few mothers earlier we visited the island for the first time. We stayed close by at a very expensive resort. That experience was a 6 at best. Drinks are cold at the bar and food is pretty good.After staying here at Bungalows on the Bay we won’t stay anywhere else. Keep up the great work on the property and please don’t lose your amazing customer service. "

"The Buccaneer was fantastic. Clearly the best place to stay in St. Croix. Could have spent the entire vacation on site but too many other attractions on the Island to see. Staff was friendly and professional, dining was excellent. Breakfast on the terrace was a job plus. Beaches pristine and beautiful. "
