"This hotel has a wonderful location, just past Jose Ignacio. Unfortunately it is now rundown and unkempt. The grounds, which were lovely when the hotel first opened, are now a disaster. Doubt they have seen a gardener all summer. There were big black ants traveling up the walls outside our room. Huge dead water bugs lay on the floor of the restaurant bathroom. Quite unappealing, to say the least. This hotel could be fantastic, but needs a lot of TLC, and it is not receiving it. "

"Had an unbelievable time at Las Dunas. There are two houses on the property, which each have one large bedroom. The main house has a living room with a pull-out and room for someone to sleep on the couch as well. There is an awesome hot tub outside which makes for some great star gazing. The location is spectacular, set high on a hill overlooking the beach. Very serene setting with lots of privacy. It’s a 5 minute walk to La Susanna, which is the best place to party in all of Uruguay. The...

"This place was one of the most memorable places I’ve stayed in my life! The cabins are in the water, so when it was very windy, the whole room was swaying. It was fun for us, but it may be a little too much for others. The location and view was just amazing. You could just jump into the water right in front of your room. Inside of the room was much better looking than what you would expect from outside."

"Decepcionante. Chegamos ao hotel às 13h00 e simplesmente não tinha ninguém para nos receber. Esperamos por horas e não apareceu ninguém. Liguei no hotel Anastasio localizado na praia, dos mesmos proprietários, quando então mandaram uma pessoa até o hotel para nos receber. Para nossa surpresa, nos disseram que haveria uma tempestade e que não deveríamos ficar hospedado nas tendas. Tudo isso sem contato e sem prévio aviso. Perdemos quase todo o dia com essa problema. Ainda nos ofereceram um quarto...
