"I stayed in Gothenburg one night only and I had to catch a train to Stockholm the following morning. I’m happy I picked this hotel which was next to train station which in some European cities can be bad, but Gothenburg is small, safe and it was easy and convenient to get around from Eggers. Check in was fast and efficient, the room had everything I needed plus it was comfortable and clean. Great stay!"

"A beautiful, historic hotel with excellent staff, a friendly atmosphere, and walkable to everthing. Lovely courtyard, delicious breakfast, and freshly made chocolate sticky cake and tea upon arrival. We stayed on our way from Norway to Copenhagen, and enjoyed it so much we booked a night to stay on our way back. Highly recommend!"

"We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet our room was despite being located over the train station. We were warned at check in that housekeeping was only every few days unless requested so didn't have any issues ther. Comfortable beds and wonderful breakfast. Water pressure was great. The sauna/fitness centre looked directly over the train tracks which was strange but not unpleasant. "
