"If peace and serenity are what you are looking for, Barefoot Cay Resort is ideal. As a boutique resort with a limited number of accommodations you can easily avoid the crowds. Although there were a few other guests, my wife and I felt like we had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed sitting on the beach and snorkeling off the pavilion with no distractions. "Best beach by far. Location pretty isolated from the party scene downtown which is perfect if looking for relaxing time. Property is very well kept and staff is attentive. Three places to eat were typical fare and priced fine. Villa's are hit and miss due to age and up keep. Overall would stay again as it was such an amazing property. You do need a car or prepare to hire driver/taxi...nothing within walking distance, extreme hills on road in/out."

"We spent a week in the Sunset View 2. It was unseasonably rainy but the big balcony looking right at the sea framed by swaying palms made it hard to leave to go do other things in Roatan. Blue Bahia is a charming, small resort with a dive shop and beach grill. It almost feels like a tiny village. We ate breakfasts and several lunches and dinners at the grill, walked to a fine dining restaurant a few times just down the beach, and to an excellent spa also practically next door. "We booked last minute as we missed our cruise. We stayed 2 nights. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They helped arrange transport from airport and also to cruise port. Food was good and the beach is beautiful. I actually wish we would have stayed here and not even went on to the cruise. Excellent resort!!"

"The property was beautiful, exactly as advertised. The owners along with the staff were very attentive and so friendly. It was so convenient to walk to the end of the dock and get in the water to snorkel. You could also take the paddle board or kayak out and enjoy the reef. I would recommend anyone looking for a quiet piece of paradise to stay at Puerta Azul."

"Wonderful stay at Infinity Bay! World class rooms, beach, and pools. Beautiful, safe, and clean. Initially the room we received was a downgrade from what we reserved. But the staff - namely Dannery - had it fixed within 24 hours, and even upgraded us to an unimaginably beautiful view of the Caribbean. Problems happen, it’s the response that counts. When traveling to a new and unknown destination, it’s nice to know you’ll be taken care of. And don’t skip breakfast. Fantastic. Then snorkeling right off the beach on the reef. Then a drink at the swim up bar. We’ve had worse weeks….(not sure we’ve had better.)"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Roatan Yacht Club. Unfortunately, there was a mix up, and our airport shuttle didn’t pick us up. But once we arrived at our resort, Miroslva took care of us. She was wonderful at the front desk. She made us feel welcome and heard about being missed at the airport. The resort is pretty, and is right on a marina. Our room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the resort was excellent! "
