"We booked this through hotels.com and we got a confirmation however they did not nor did they receive payment. We arrived and the host Valentina was waiting for us (because we called). She graciously let us in the gates and showed us one of two rooms to choose from which either one was fine. We were hungry and Valentina recommended a nearby restaurant that had great food. "Was welcomed by the lovely owners, abd their gorgeous dog. They were very helpful and friendly. The room was adequately equipped and the views from outside were simply stunning. We were made to feel very welcome, and we enjoyed a relaxing stay, only one night but wished for more. "Great stay on the very peaceful island of Burano that is a short water bus ride from Venice. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and eat in the Osteria Restaurant and order the five course entree. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. They accommodated as vegetarians. They make their own wine from grapes grown on the property and the meal was complimented with 4 wine pairings that were very unique. We return there every year for a night or two"

"Our host Stefano was amazing and very accommodating with our late arrival on the Lido. He met us outside and helped us with free parking and our luggage. The apartment is situated in the original part of Lido in a very nice quiet street despite being on intersection and has a beautiful garden lovingly tendered by his mum.
