"Il faut être assez autonome, car le personnel n’est pas souvent présent ! Le déjeuner est vraiment excellent. L’accès à la chute gratuitement est vraiment agréable! Les installations tel que la piscine et la cuisine sont des plus. À quatre, nous avons trouvé qu’il commençait à y manquer un peu d’espace de rangement. En gros, nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et la vue est magnifique ! "

"It’s one of the least expensive options for staying in town in Santa Teresa but still a lot of money for no hot water or seating options besides hard benches or hammocks. Staff was mostly very nice. I don’t recommend the evening yoga session if you’re easily distracted by noise and people gathering below to use the outdoor kitchen to make dinner also making it hard to hear instructions. "Fidelito is set on a small ridge which affords great views into the trees to see birds and monkeys. The rooms are big and very nice, with a patio that looks into the forest. The owners are wonderful people. There is a garden with a very well appointed outdoor common room. Directions to find the place were accurate and easy to follow. We really loved it."

"A little piece of paradise in Samara......not much of a selection as far as meals, but the property is amazing! Little Internet connection. Their website could use better directions as to location. We spent hours looking for the resort."

"The grounds were beautiful. Great community area (use of the kitchen too!) and pool. The owner was wonderful and very helpful. Right across from the ocean. If you go during the hottest months, be aware that the cabins have 3 mesh walls. We did not find this as a problem since there were 2 fans and quite comfortable in the evenings. Really, who spends too much time in their room on vacation anyway. That aside, the cabins are quite comfortable and have nice decks with hammocks."

"This place was a great choice, 2min walk from Samara beach, staff was friendly, they had onsite food available, very nice bar beverages options by the pool. Pool was kid friendly with some stairs and nice shade during the day. Room had nice A/C and very comfortable beds, was very spacious and had very nice seating area. Will definitely come back to this hotel with my family. "

"I love boutique hotels and Leyenda is no exception. The grounds are quite beautiful. They greeted us with a welcome drink! We stayed for 3 nights total, family of 5. We had the superior 2 bedroom and the room was good but we did add an extra room after our first night for more space and another bathroom (my fault for thinking the 3 beds/1 bath would be sufficient with two teens). We enjoyed the big pool! Wished it was a bit cooler to be a refresh from the heat, or that a part of the pool had some shade (never thought I’d say that!) We ate 3 dinners here and each dinner was AMAZING! I can not recommend their dinners enough. Warning: the portions are HUGE and very shareable. Unfortunately, the complimentary breakfast buffet was not as good as their dinner. However, the made to order cappuccinos were lovely. We took the shuttle to the beach one day and I highly recommend Playa Carillo as it was the best beach we visited in Costa Rica. Just stunning! The next day we drove our rental car to the beach and back. Overall, I would return here again. For the price, the location and amenities are a great deal. PS. The Asiatic restaurant is not open, which we were looking forward to. Luckily that main restaurant had a large variety and incredible food."

"We had an amazing stay here. The room was furnished beautifully and had a stunning ocean view. We enjoyed the private outdoor space, as well as the lounge area by the pool. Breakfast was exceptional. Highly recommend! "
