"This is an excellent small hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful with fluent English speakers. They booked excellent car and walking tours for us, and also provided solid advice on restaurants and getting around. The hotel is in a great location, but you’ll need to be able to walk up and down the long flight of stairs—which is pretty typical for Havana. They moved our large bags for us, so you just need to manage yourself. Drinks on the terrace upstairs at sunset was just delightful. Security...

"Beautiful casa with very kind and helpful staff. Particularly the ladies who worked in the kitchen. bathroom with shower and good amenities. Breakfast offered each morning, eggs, fruits, great coffee, fruit juices. Exchanged euros for pesos. Helped us arrange taxis."

"The property was a taxi ride from the main area of Havana but taxis were organised very easily. the rooms and en suite bathrooms were large and the bed very comfortable. shower a bit temperamental but it didn't matter. The house was full of old and interesting artefacts and the main guy spoke really good English and was very helpful. breakfast seemed to be whenever we wanted it and was basically anything we wanted. Very good coffee! Our stay was overall excellent"

"Great location in Havana close to the water, old town sites, restaurants and transportation. Al was a wealth of knowledge and entertainment. The house was huge and immersed you in the senses of Havana. The sounds of the city were pretty intense, especially on Saturday night. The breakfast was a great way to start the day. Al makes sure you know the basics and are set to enjoy your exploration of Havana."

"Lovely people in a lovely property.My Spanish is non existent but they still made me feel welcome. Great view along the Malecon and out to sea to the harbour entrance."
