"The room I initially received had no windows and felt isolated. However, when I asked Mages for assistance, he was able to quickly find me a room with windows. Chris was also very helpful throughout the process. The breakfast served was good, and the front desk staff were friendly and very attentive. I recommend checking the room before you book it."

"The room is small and it is expected. But there were ants running around your bed and I killed serval during each night. I didn't eat in the room so definitely not my fault. Besides the bathroom exhaust not quite functioning so mouldy smell is inside the room. And one more thing the wall is as thin as paper so you'll hear the neighbours. The cleaners start their works at 5am."

"Pretty basic hotel, would prefer to stay in something better. But for the price (in Singapore) it's ok and ideal if you are just after a bed to sleep in. Staff are friendly and willing to help. Good location for getting around Singapore, situated between Little India and Bugis (both walking distance). 3 MRT stations in close proximity, so plenty of options for travelling to other parts of Singapore. This was my second stay at Hotel 81 Rochor."
