"The room was just as shown on the photos. I had seen some negative reviews so had some apprehension, but there were no problems on our visit. Comfortable beds, hot water, good heating, reasonable carpet; 24/7 Asda shop and other facilities at the service station. No fridge or cooking facilities, but I took a microwave and had no problems. Overall the property seems to have some maintenance issues with various buckets strategically placed to catch drips in the foyer and one corridor: but...

"Having stayed at dozens of similar hotels across the EU & Switzerland. My main observation was it is DATED. No fridge in the room, no USB points, double bed was two together, yes tea & coffee, ironing board, safe; even a fan. Oh, it was cosy & warm in the room and bathroom. Decor was looking “old” but breakfast was top notch✅"

"The hotel staff were attentive and made us feel very welcome from the time we arrived to our departure. We would like to say a particularly big thank you to James who took care of us and our needs throughout our stay. "Christmas break to unwind and relax at this busy time and it was fantastic also sat looking at the moon outside in the jacuzzi which was extra special. The evening meal was delicious and couldn’t fault anything. A lovely breakfast the next day finishing off a perfect stay. Thank you all."

"We upgraded to a superior room this room was stunning with perfect views. My only complaint would be the wondows are so drafty. Yes there are lovely heavy drapes which do the job. With such wonderful views you dont want to shut them out. I understand the wondows cant be changed but like ive said on previous stays put shutters or some sort of cover over them which can be opened or taken dwn when the weather is better 🌞"

"A beautiful comfortable house. Plenty of room for larger groups. The kitchen is well stocked the bedrooms.and bathrooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The host was very helpful and kept in touch. Overall this is a very stylish house very cosy for a winter weekend away. I would totally recommend a visit."
