"ive stayed here many times because its a very good price for central istanbul- it is quite basic but it has character, it is in the tarlabasi a very old district of istanbul, a bit ramshackle- which i like, but safe,. there are friendly reception staff, close to istiklal caddesi with its many restaurants and shops. its on a very steep street so not great for people with mobility problems, it is also close to the famous sunday market, comfortable bed, i slept well"

"The reservation desk was very prompt in addressing all concerns. The units are very intimate, but they have more than everything that you might need for your stay including hotplates, utensils, etc. Of course it is an easy five minute walk to the famous pedestrian Istiklal Street. Furthermore, it is a pleasant walk downhill to the Topane T1 tram station. However, on the way back, its best to take the tunnel from Karakoy to Galata, and walk down Istiklal Street.
