"This was our second stay at Camp Amnicon. We stayed in Quietude last year, but booked Sunset this year because the three new ones weren’t available. It was great!! We think we might like sunset/sunrise better because they feel much more private, and we didn’t need the bigger space of the newer cabins. So cozy - we love the fireplace! "

"The description of this relaxing oasis was accurate and exactly what I was looking for as a two day personal getaway! Very, very simple, warm cabin and outhouse. Don’t come if you’re expecting a fancy little tourist cabin- this is the real deal like we up north enjoy. Everything you need (except food) is there for a simple stay. "This was a cute cabin along the south shore of Lake Superior, a quick bike ride to a couple of smaller towns and about 25 minutes to Bayfield. There is a short walk to a beach cove which is secluded and beautiful. Less than a 10 minute drive to Hidden falls hike which was gorgeous! The host was very responsive and flexible, and the place was clean and organized. Would definitely spend time here again! "

"I was looking to distress, unwind, and relax in quite semi off grid place. They came through, it was a short 2 minute walk for parking the car to the cabin. Yet the location of cabin was secluded enough, you felt like you walked 10 minutes into the woods! The cabin was small and cozy, and very nice fireplace that did its job well. "The property was very inviting and had great energy. The lay out ws unique, which made it fun with plenty of space to find a quite spot to sit and read or work if need be. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away for a long weekend. I will be booking again for sure!! "
