Timber Frame House overlooking Lake Superior, 20 miles from downtown Duluth

Beautiful timber-framed house with over 3900+ square feet, plus another 1100+ square feet in the guest house. Includes both buildings and 550 feet of private lake shore. It is located at the end of a 3 mile long gravel road. Quiet. Secluded. Private. Come enjoy a beautiful escape on the south shore of Lake Superior. NOW with high speed wifi! Literally 100 times faster than our old DSL (starlink- 253 mbps on July 3, 2024)!

This home was built entirely from locally harvested white pine in 2002. Approximately 100 feet to Lake Superior's sandy shoreline. 10 Queen beds with three custom made bunk beds will be enough to fit your whole family and then some.

Sauna, swimming, camp fires, and star gazing... all to your hearts’ content at this secluded retreat.

50th Anniversary Celebration
An amazing roomy clean and well stocked rental for a large group. There was 18 ppl (5 families) and never once did we feel crowded. Beautiful home, yard, beach. The house has all of the required necessities you will need for a stay. It has kitchen ware, gaming room and a full bedding. The house was able to accommodate all of our groups needs. It has a scenic trail that leads to the lake which is a good spot for relaxing and taking pictures. The owners are very helpful and responsive to all of our questions.

Everything was great! Very well stocked kitchen! Lots of games and books. Loved sitting by the fireplace. Has a pool table, arcade games, and a tennis table!! Great for all ages. It also has a sauna that we enjoyed. Plenty of towels, and blankets. Would love to come back.

We had a group of 8 and were all very comfortable - staying right on the lake allowed for beachfront sunrises and a polar plunge. We loved having the great room with a fireplace and even a sauna. We spread out and there were still spaces we didn’t utilize. Very comfortable. Thank you Kris, et all - we loved our stay and are already planning to book again!!

Accommodating, great location!
We held a week long family reunion here with 22 people (12 adults and 10 children). We all fit comfortably and it was a beautiful spot to spend time outside. We were able to travel into Superior and Duluth relatively easy so it was a good location to reach those areas.
