"All of our guests for the Hen weekend made the weekend fun and the local cimmunity were really friendly. Unfortunately I had a few issues with the host, Chris. I had requested an early entry by 2 hours and in short was told yes for £50 payment as he had to arrange someone to be at the house. After a further 4 messages to Chris which were not answered I had to phone him and was reduced to tears by his hostility. He bumped up payment to £100 claiming I left it to last day to confirm this. "Beautiful property that is very well maintained and clean. Has gorgeous views of the Firth of Clyde and a hot tub for good measure. Hosts were great communicators, although when asked, we were told to take cooking basics (salt, pepper, tea and coffee etc) and cleaning products as they wouldnt be provided. Although these things were all present on arrival. To note, we thought the fridge was quite small for a 10 person holiday home. We couldnt fit a lot of our food and drink in for our 2 night...

"Marc’s home was beautiful and spacious enough for a family of 10. It had a well equipped kitchen and the pool table was a nice touch to keep the kids entertained. The surrounding area is lovely as well as the local pub. We would definitely come back for another family trip! "

"The location is fabulous. Approx 30 mins from lots of different activities. (We hired a boat on Loch Goil, hill walking, gorge walk, castle, local towns.) The village is lovely with a well stocked post office, (who cooked us fish & chips) local pub and garage. The property is very clean, beautifully designed, immaculately maintained, extremely comfortable, beautiful views (over the loch with daily changing vistas, birds, boats, seals), has the little extra amenities that make it special: tea...

"Lovely big warm & cozy house, communal space was great. Some bedrooms were awkward due to positioning of sinks in each one but the beds were very comfortable. The dining room looked bigger in photographs, but we did get everyone around the table...but no-one could move. Instructions for ovens & dish washer would have been useful. Area was gorgeous but no walks from the house. I had to chase up an email response from the agent, and had difficulty getting details ie regarding address and check...

"The house was spacious with good facilities and very comfortable. Only 200m from the beach and a walk to the village with shops, cafe. Lovely walks from the house and lots to do. Terrace and garden great."
