"A pleasant place. No pretensions but clean enough and comfortable (I stayed in the hotel, not the motel, so I don’t know what the motel rooms are like). The staff were welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was surprisingly good. The hotel is a little way outside the cbd so only convenient if you have a car. "Arrived on a bleak Invercargill day, completely underdressed for the weather, was invited for early check in so i could get changed. upon arrival the heater had been switched on so the room was nice and warm. Room was cosy, warm and clean. Parking was great. Highlight of staying here was the hosts, they were attentive, friendly and had some great recommendations on food and activities. Thanks for hosting us."
