"Solo black female traveller First time in Antigua Travelled in Dec close to Christmas I loved this small resort. I got the nice quiet, relaxing vacation I needed. The staff was super friendly and they gave me the room closest to the resort amenities which made me feel safe and cared for. Nobody was in my business asking why I was by myself. The most comfortable resort I've been to solo. Customer service was top notch. The cocktails at the bar were delicious and strong. The room was lovely. I loved that Netflix was already connected. The pool in the rooms are deeper than I thought. I'm 5'7" and the water reached above my eyes but there are wide steps and a shallow portion on top. There was no shower door/curtain in my room. I don't know if this is the case for all the rooms so check that inacse you're travelling with someone you don't want to see naked showering.There are birds that will dine with you for breakfast and lunch but they didn't bother me. Limited menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can request to take leftovers. They have some entertainment like live music but it's chill, quiet. They do have books and games. There's also a dock that has kayaks and seats. The views from the resort are beautiful. Check in and check out was quick and easy. They offer some excursions with affordable pricing. There's a shuttle to the beach or a 10 min walk which I do not recommend because it's hilly. There are snacks and soft drinks at the beach also. I will recommend!"

"The Long house is paradise found! My husband and I spent 6 weeks in this beautiful home. It begins with an elegant stone entry and big doors that open to gardens and sky. The next thing you see is a glowing infinity pool and then the view that goes out across inlets of sea, lush green hills and big sky view. I often found myself standing on the veranda and just looking, the changing sky here is a show in itself. The kitchen opens to the outdoors and living space, every wall in this house opens up to catch the wind and bring in the sun or to create shade. It is like living outside but with the comforts of the indoors. We loved the sunrises on the back patio and the sunsets out by the pool. We would come home from the beach, pool dip and then grab our bottle of wine, situate the lounges and tuck in for our evening sunset, it was different and spectacular every night! It became our evening movie and afterwards the star gazing was the night cap. This home is cool, breezy and opens up so much that occasionally a bird would soar right through the living room. One day I looked up into the eyes of a cute little bird perched on the couch across from me, just checking me out. We loved the wild Donkeys that live along the road, while there, a foul was born, he would peek out from behind his mama with his thick bangs, so cute. The Long house is beautifully done for the ultimate Caribbean vacation. Nick and Mossy took perfect care of us. This place really is an Oasis of tranquility"

"Our apartment, the view from every room, the sound of the breeze flowing through the coconut and palm trees provided such a tranquil, peaceful, relaxing experience. Awakened to beautiful sun-rises glistening off the bay in the early morning, and mesmerized by the sun-sets in the evening. The beautiful beaches and turquoise waters added to the experience, as well as the great foods we enjoyed. It was topped-off to including our cook Anele who made a wonderful meal for our daughter's Birthday. One thing we regretted was that we were not closer to the city. Nevertheless, the tranquility and beauty was definitely what our bodies needed. Thank you, Peter, Pascale, and Anele."

"We had a wonderful holiday in the spacious Nonsuch Bay apartment. We knew the area would be quiet as it’s off season which suited us well for a much needed break from the usual hustle and bustle. We are fortunate to know Antigua well. We were warmly welcomed by the agent Natasha and a much appreciated welcome basket of goodies. The apartment is exactly as described. It has a stunning view of the garden, pool and of course the sea. Plus a comfy bed and well equipped kitchen. The location is remote and a car is essential to get around the island and to pick up groceries. There are many stunning beaches in Antigua so it’s advisable to get out and visit these as Nonsuch doesn’t offer the best one. All of the gardeners and security staff were welcoming and friendly and we felt safe there even though there were few people ar If you are looking for a relaxing break away from the usual hotel resorts and happy to cook or drive to restaurants then this is a fantastic option. It’s worth it just for the view, day or night, rain or shine. "

Prior to our arrival, Cheri was in communication with great tips and lots of useful information. The check in process was easy and instructions were clear. We met Cheri within a few minutes of arrival at the property. Any issues that came up during our stay Cheri addressed then quickly and provided updates as needed. The property is great for a group of friend or family. We all loved the layout of the property. We loved the furniture as it felt modern and a home away from home. It is walking distance from the beach, which was great for our morning swims. The drive to the property is a little long, but for what you get it is worth it. "
