"The hotel is in a convenient location relative to downtown DC, but without the insane traffic! Breakfast was served hot and filled quickly. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all that was needed. The parking was a bit tricky to get a spot outside, though there is a garage we didn’t use. Also there was not an abundance of sugar free options in the breakfast room."

"Great location- easy walking to the National Mall, Monuments, Museums and the Wharf. Breakfast at the Capital Bistro onsite was delicious and the Starbucks inside made for a quick grab and go snack option. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Only downside was the fire alarm went off about midnight one night but thankfully we didn’t need to evacuate."

The staff at the Watergate are undoubtedly its crown jewel. From the front desk to the dining room, their dedication to providing the highest level of service was evident. Upon check-in, I was warmly greeted and swiftly accommodated, with the front desk staff taking the time to explain the hotel amenities and ensure everything was to my satisfaction. Their attention to detail and genuine interest in creating a personalized experience set the tone for the rest of my stay. The housekeeping team also deserves a shout-out for their meticulous care. Rooms were not only immaculately cleaned. The only issue I had was the valet not informing us about the location of their public parking lot. They pretended not to know, but we eventually discovered it was behind the building."
