"The property is fantastic and set up well. The host are great and a lot of fun to hang out with. The pool is a nice touch. They have a nice lounge with a TV and a nice kitchen area. They have free bikes. They will do laundry for you on site. The bathrooms are very clean and offer some privacy even though they are not located in the rooms. "Very beautiful resort with a lovely beach. It was quiet even though it was full. Everything we tried at the restaurant was delicious. Everyone at the resort was kind and thoughtful and made our favorite drinks, even if they’d never made one before. Outstanding place. "

"Kalimera is a very welcoming new Eco Chic hotel. The owners and staff go above and beyond with their hospitality. They can arrange tours and provide advise to enhance your time in the area. The breakfasts were delicious. Elvis who managed the bar made excellent cocktails. The rooms are well designed for comfort and nicely situated for beautiful views. The surrounding resorts offered nice restaurants. This is the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in years. We will definitely return to Kalimera."

"We loved our stay here. The grounds were beautiful and the accommodations were upscale and comfortable. It had a very peaceful and relaxing vibe. The service and staff were excellent. This was a great place to unwind, and we loved sitting on our porch, watching the wildlife (lots of agouti!). I would absolutely recommend this hotel!"

"The listing for this property was incorrect. What we thought we were getting was 3 queen beds with 2 bathrooms. Instead, we got 2 adjoining units that had 1 queen bed each, a pull-out sofa, & 3 bathrooms. Each unit had its own kitchen. When we arrived, the door between our rooms was locked so we had to go out to the porch & into the other unit to be with our friends. "Awesome location on a pretty beach with surreal sunrises and moonrises. The location is quiet and restful. Our room was very practical with a small fridge, drinking water, and A/C.The shower was tiny with dismal water pressure. Breakfast was perfect for us. "Loved this place. Exactly what I was looking for, out of the way and minimal humans lol. Extremely clean (it's newly opened) and the staff is extremely hospitable. From the entire staff greeting us upon arrival until the day we left, our stay was the very best. I can't wait until they complete the entire property and yes I will definitely be back very soon."

"The property manager was lovely and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of at all times. Very sweet traditional style cabanas with a small kitchenette, air conditioning (a must), and shower. Fresh water tubs with a fresh habiscus flower each day to wash the sand off of your feet. Our room was compact and comfortable. Nice beachfront a few steps away for sunrise in the morning. Placencia beaches are not the most swimmable. Nice walking area with shops and restaurants that feature local fare. We enjoyed the live entertainment at the restaurants next door. Overall, very nice and a good value."
