"It was difficult to find the first time. Probably more my GPS fault than anything. Once arrived, I had to walk around the area to find my lodgings. GPS said "you have arrived" well, that wasn't good enough. I walked around till I found it. I slept in the twin bunk room. The bottom bunk bed was very uncomfortable. Mom slept in the queen bed and said it was very comfortable. Bring your own toiletries as they are sparsly provided. The shower floor has no slippage protection. I did mention this to...

"This was our second stay at this property and it was just as good as the first. Just 30 mins drive from Edinburgh, and 10 mins from the Pentland Hills it's perfect for both a city and country break. Extremely dog friendly too with plenty of space to run around outside. All communication was clear and timely, and we were greeted with a bottle of wine, lovely note and flowers. "First of all, Charlie was great! We had major train delays and didn’t arrive until the middle of the night/very early morning and he was so nice to reach out with concern. "I can't recommend this apartment more. There were 6 of us and it worked out perfectly. The apartment was extremely clean and had all the provisions needed. It's as cute as the pictures show. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet and dark, great for sleeping. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk to all of the restaurants we booked. "My daughters and I really enjoyed our stay in Roberta’s cottage. It’s in a quiet area but the tram up Leith walk to downtown Edinburgh or on to Murrayfield stops a block and a half away. Communication with Roberta was fast and easy. Thank you, Roberta, for not gouging us during the T Swift weekend, too. We highly recommend staying here."

"It was a lovely cottage in a lovely location. I would have given it a 5 star but there was a couple of things that made it a 4 star rating. The postcode doesn’t take you to the location and it would have helped if there had been directions given to let you know that. I had to contact the seller to find out how I get in as well as directions when we got there.
