"Lovely stay, staff were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms could do with a little refurb but can’t really complain given the price we paid to be in Edinburgh so was really good value for money. Breakfast was spot on too. "

"Very friendly, accomodating staff. Clean and got everything you need in your lovely room. Transport links just outside. Shops & Restuarants are plenty. Home from Home Ran very professionally with Guests at the fore. Would highly recommend "

"Location is great, very easy to get regular buses into the city centre. I had a single en suite room for one night. I'll start with the cons and then give the pros... Cons: - The room is soulless - The bed is super creaky -The TV is tiny and reception was poor on some channels - A mug would be preferable to a teacup - The digital combination locks are clever but they'd be better if they could be silenced as I could hear the ones for other rooms - There's a gap under the door so you can hear...

"Room was clean and comfortable. However did not have en suite bathroom as advertised, which was unexpected. Despite this was able to park my car outside (for free) and perfect for buses into town and the hospital"

"Nice small room, minor issue was only one small coffee cup, and there was an empty/used milk container on the windowsill. Cozy, very good shower and nice big TV. Quiet location. "

"Had a lovely time during our one night stay after a long day of driving and sightseeing in Edinburgh. Very cute, comfortable place, great breakfast and walking distance to Lallybroch. Loved the country setting. Host was very welcoming. Really enjoyed it!"

"We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Ian gave us a tour if the castle along with a history. The rooms were cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The owners even gave us a ride to the tram when we were unable to find a taxi. Sue and Ian are a friendly helpful couple. "

"We went to Edinburgh for the fringe. The B&B was excellent. Good breakfast and well looked after. Like being part of the family. Close enough to the centre to make it walkable if you are young enough. "

"We had the most incredible stay at The Queen's View for so many reasons. On the way to the B&B, there was an accident in the middle of Linlithgow cutting off all traffic through the town and I had no idea how to get through to the B&B. Without needing to call, Catriona messaged us with directions helping us get around the traffic and saved an extended argument in the car! On arrival, we were greeted by Catriona and shown to our room (Superior Double Room w/ garden view), which was stunning and...

"Great family run place with nice rooms and a covenient location. This place is great if you're renting a car or not. It's right by the train station that goes to either Glasgow or Edinburgh, but in a small-town area so that if you have a rental car, it's easy to manage. Lots of sights to see nearby. Great Scottish breakfast on request! Nicola is an excellent cook."
