"Hotel in beautiful valley. Restaurant has big windows for the views. Food and service excellent. We had dinner and breakfast. Very helpful friendly staff on reception and restaurant. Food is pub style. Good value. Comfy bed. Bathroom with bat and shower. Need shower cap uf not wanting to wash hair. Hotel is opposite the mill which houses theatre and is the entrance for Wookey Hole Caves park . We were lucky as there was a talent show in the evening. Wookey Hole Caves were great fun, do go to circus shows in the theatre. Wookey Hole attraction consists of: * Caves tour - we did normal walking, but can book for climbing pot-holing adventure * animatronic dinosaur garden * circus shows * 4D cinema * hall of mirrors * arcades * cave diving exhibition * local archaeology * paper making demonstrations Can go around as many times as you wish Recommend the circus show "

"An excellent hotel for a one night stay The restaurant was good but breakfast understandably wasn’t available at 7.00am on a Sunday (I could have had cereal and toast) . This didn’t impact on giving an exellent rating "

"Stayed for two nights. Dined in one evening and very good quality. Had one of the outer rooms in a cottage style. Great for young teen having own room. "

"Warm welcome in a lovely country pub. First class pub food reasonably priced, and well kept real ale. Compact room in excellent condition had lots of thoughtful little extras I didn’t expect in a pub with rooms, including mirror at right height for stool with hair dryer. Independent heating (not needed this time) and effective double glazing so no traffic noise. "
