"Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Note: the property is on a bus route to Huddersfield. Would we stay again? Definitely "

"Where to begin, think I may run out of superlatives! Our Sheldon Cottage was the most wonderful place to spend 4 days. The view alone was priceless. Steve and Hazel have designed the cottage to the highest possible standard and it has everything one could possibly need. It is wonderfully equipped for anyone with a disability, a wheelchair can easily whizz around all the accommodation.
