"We had a very comfortable time in the cottage. When I asked Rachel if there was a coffee maker or French press in the home she said no and then messaged me that she’d gone out to get one for our stay. How lovely is that!? She left us a couple of treats as well. The cottage was cozy and quiet and had everything we needed for our winter retreat. "We had a really enjoyable stay at Woodpecker Cottage. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and 60th anniversary, there was plenty of room for all 13 family members inside the property and we enjoyed the outside space using all the facilities. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The bedrooms/bedding/towels all lovely and clean. We would recommend a stay at this property."

We had a lovely time, enjoyed the hot tub and had a lovely pub meal at the Hare and Hounds in Lothersdale. The views from the cottage are lovely, even in the October gloom, it must be stunning when the sun comes out"

"Barnacres cottages - was a really lovely place for a family gathering, so comfortable, really well kitted out and fab garden area for bbq, fire pit evenings. The tennis court was a real bonus for family fun. Lived it and would recommend highly."

"A lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for a walking holiday. Plenty of info from the helpful owner who came around to explain things shortly after I arrived. A short walk to the station. Parking OK outside cottage as long as you have a relatively small car (larger cars can park further down the lane I think). All in all an excellent cottage."
