However the TV had no signal and although there was a telephone there was nothing to plug it into. We complained and they moved us to a lovely family room. "I stayed in the Rosslea as I was attending a business meeting the next day. Firstly I was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift so if you have mobility issues could be an issue. The room itself was adequate but would benefit from a revamp. The tv was ancient but perfectly useable. The bed was 2 pushed together so was a little strange when sleeping. The breakfast was really good and was included with the stay. Overall I had a pleasant stay."

"We had a lovely stay at the Duck Bay Marina, this is our second time staying at this hotel. The Hotel has been renovated since the last time we stayed. Our room was very comfortable and cosy. We were able to go from our room and see the lovely view of Loch Lomond. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. All staff were welcoming and friendly. We also had a really nice meal in the restaurant. "

"The Glenburn Hotel has outstanding views from the hotel restaurant / lobby area, so I enjoyed it as much as I could since my room looked on to the roof, blocking the view. A little misguided from the outstanding photos on Expedia. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and I really enjoyed my walks in the lovely area of Rothesay. "The property was clean, comfortable, well equipped and ideal for our stay. Sadly our visit from Canada was due to my dad being end of life. We were so grateful to able to make a cup of tea when we arrived. Hopefully we will return for another stay in happier times."

Wonderful stay

"We had a great 2 weeks stay at this lovely lodge. We were really pleased with the whole experience from start to the end. Michelle and Ian were very hospitable and they arranged everything for us with the most efficient and effective way. The lodge is situated within a beautiful location with stunning views at the Holy loch. We enjoyed lovely dinners at the balcony even when it was raining! Overall very comfortable and clean, nothing missed -we had all amenities required handy for an easy and relaxing holiday. Thank you for the kind hospitality and for the great experience 😊. "The location is very good, offering very nice views and a serene atmosphere that made our stay very relaxing regardless of the Scottish weather. The accommodation was spotless and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living areas were cozy and inviting. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The property is also conveniently located near local attractions, making it easy to explore the area."

You Should Stay Here

"This was our 2nd time staying here this year. That should tell you that it's worth going back to. Excellent location, within walking distance to the Ferry Terminal. The cottage is great, the wife loves the kitchen and the Conservatory (all season sun room) is fantastic as well. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the updated bathroom and shower was very much appreciated. Communication with the owner was great, they were very responsive and pro-active to any questions we had. The only tiny wee downside is that the TV is very small. I'd expect a much bigger TV these days, but this is a very small niggle and I'd still give the cottage 5 stars easily. We will be back again, this is our go-to place when visiting this area each year."
