"Very well appointed B&B with very hospitable hosts Drew and Alison. Bit of a trek into Dunoon but very picturesque. Breakfast is highly recommended and sets you up for the day!"

"We had a twin room with a view of the sea and it was clean enough. There was black mould on the window frame. However the TV had no signal and although there was a telephone there was nothing to plug it into. We complained and they moved us to a lovely family room. No sea view but the staff were very helpful and kind "

"Very easy instructions to get in using the key safe box in the porch. A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. Breakfast was delicious and I had different options and Heather kindly stocked up the milks tea and coffee as I was there for 5 days. "I had booked this as a surprise for my husband. We arrived early so room was not ready. Checked in and was a bit disappointed as room was facing the car park. I had contacted the hotel prior to arrival as it was a surprise birthday pressie. However asked if there was any rooms with a view of the loch. "It’s a charming older hotel with a lot of character. Rooms are quiet, clean & tidy. Stayed for a week & was extremely comfortable. Used their restaurant for all the breakfasts and sometimes their lunch or dinner menu’s too. There were a variety of options on the menu, good value and very satisfying."

"If you are expecting 5* luxury then this might not be the place for you. However if just a quick stopover it’s not too bad at all. The rooms are functional and I personally found the bed very comfortable. This is a basic room at a value price, if you are paying for a cheap room, then expect a cheap room. Personally it was fine both price wise and comfort wise and for an overnight stay I would use again. "

Wonderful stay

"We had a great 2 weeks stay at this lovely lodge. We were really pleased with the whole experience from start to the end. Michelle and Ian were very hospitable and they arranged everything for us with the most efficient and effective way. The lodge is situated within a beautiful location with stunning views at the Holy loch. We enjoyed lovely dinners at the balcony even when it was raining! Overall very comfortable and clean, nothing missed -we had all amenities required handy for an easy and relaxing holiday. Thank you for the kind hospitality and for the great experience 😊. "The location is very good, offering very nice views and a serene atmosphere that made our stay very relaxing regardless of the Scottish weather. The accommodation was spotless and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living areas were cozy and inviting. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The property is also conveniently located near local attractions, making it easy to explore the area."

You Should Stay Here

"This was our 2nd time staying here this year. That should tell you that it's worth going back to. Excellent location, within walking distance to the Ferry Terminal. The cottage is great, the wife loves the kitchen and the Conservatory (all season sun room) is fantastic as well. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the updated bathroom and shower was very much appreciated. Communication with the owner was great, they were very responsive and pro-active to any questions we had. The only tiny wee downside is that the TV is very small. I'd expect a much bigger TV these days, but this is a very small niggle and I'd still give the cottage 5 stars easily. We will be back again, this is our go-to place when visiting this area each year."

"Beautiful property, lovely views from the windows and at night all the lights from the other side of the water is so nice. There is a woodland walk just at the top of the road, most places are dog friendly, and to see the deer in the garden from the window was so nice. "
