"YES WE ENJOYED OUR STAY VERY MUCH. LOVELY WARM AND HOMELY HOTEL. LOVED THE QUIRKY LIFT. LOVED THE HISTORY OF THE HOTEL. THE DOWNSIDE WAS THE EXTORTIONATE PRICE OF SANDWICHES AND SOUP FROM THE BAR. £10 FOR A WAFER THIN SANDWICH OF BEEF AND 4 CHEAP CRISPS. SOUP ALSO £10. SCANDALOUS ALSO DRINKS EXPENSIVE. THE BAR ROOM WAS FAR TOO DARK. WE WILL BE BACK BUT WILL CERTAINLY NOT ORDER FOOD!!!! "
