"We travelled up from Devon (myself & husband) and London (sons & partners), and after a long, challenging journey we were delighted to find a beautiful, clean and comfortable base for our stay. The location was perfect for meeting up with family for a meal at the Oaksmere hotel (5 min walk), for attending the wedding in Eye (2km away) and the reception in Upper Oakley (also 2km away). "We stayed here in early December for my partner's birthday. The main reasons for booking Red House Barns were the location (not too far from Aldeburgh and Southwold) and the hot tubs, and we were not disappointed on either of these fronts. Christmas is a great time to go as you have the Christmas shop on site and a small stall that sells coffees, bacon rolls, etc. which was really useful.
