"Our stay was March 16-23rd. Two adults and an 11 year old. We stayed in the Deluxe Garden View room which actually had a very nice view of the ocean and was also a suite of two bedrooms, so our daughter had her own room which made her very happy and comfy. The room was beautiful throughout. The staff got to know our names quickly and it very like home by day two. The resort was full but the pool was never really crowded nor was the beach. There were many times where felt like the only people at the resort. The restaurant and bars available on the property were great. The dock had a really cool spot for seeing fish at night. Our daughter loved it. The beach and water were really nice though there was a sargasm mess for a few days. It didn’t hamper our fun. Hopkins village is loaded with food spots. Our two favourites were Ellas Cool Spot & Nice Cream Ice Cream Shoppe. We rented a golf cart for the week which made it easy to get around town. We took a tour to Xunantunich which was amazing and also went on a half-day fishing excursion which was also crazy cool. We caught a barracuda and numerous snapper. A truly perfect week for us. Weather was exactly as forecast with no surprises. I highly recommend this place. We spent a bit more than expected while there but it was definitely worth it. "

Michelle, Wilber, King, Kobe, Tanisha—everyone was so kind, and once they found out I was traveling solo, they always checked on me. Michelle even helped me find someone to do my hair! Their warmth made my stay unforgettable. About Hopkins Village: This isn’t just a place to visit; it’s a place to experience. Everyone smiles at you, everyone is kind—just make sure you’re kind back. It’s a humble beachside village full of love, culture, and flavor, and that’s what makes it special. A Few Things to Know: 🔹 No full-length mirror in my room—something to keep in mind if that matters to you. 🔹 The restaurant closes about an hour after check-in (around 4:30 PM), so if you’re arriving late, grab some food beforehand or wait until dinner at 6. Other than that, this stay was exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a resort where you’re treated like family, where the people truly care, and where you can reconnect with yourself in a beautiful, peaceful setting, this is the place. I'd return in a beat."
