"Very elegant. Historic. Not modern and up to date but I enjoyed that about it. The hot tub was amazing. The staff were very friendly. Parking available around the hotel so we didn’t have to pay for parking unless we went out. Within walking distance from the French Quarter. Gas station/ convenience store within walking distance. Very peaceful. They offer a tour and history of the property. They offer breakfast. Only issue I encountered was since the furniture is antique, it’s starting to break...

"My mother and I had a wonderful stay at the Terrell house during Mardi Gras in 2025. We stayed for 6 days and 7 nights, so we did a lot of research before we book for a longer stay like this, and we landed on Terrell because of its location, interiors, and included breakfast. "Pros- Close location to everything a walkable distance. Quiet neighborhood, restaurant literally right next-door to you. The host was very communicative, inside was very accurate to the pictures. Con - the bed was a little stiff and the rug in our room was not comfortable to walk on after being on your feet all day. Not a big deal, but it would’ve been nice if there was a small dresser to place clothes in the master suite."

"My friends stayed with Betsy while attending my daughter’s wedding….they loved everything about Chez Palmiers, especially the host, Betsy, who they absolutely raved about her every time we met up. I had the pleasure of sitting with my girlfriends by the pool, drinking and eating beignets and Thai food. What a lovely respite in the Big Easy! Thank you Betsy!!"
