"We went to this property as a family of 26 for a birthday/ retirement celebration. After some initial issues accessing the property (be aware it is a steep drive and tricky if there is snow or ice) we had a wonderful time. The kitchen is very well equipped, large, roomy living area, a table that seated all of us and plenty of bedrooms. The kids enjoyed playing in the basement and outside in the snow. The host responded immediately when we needed her. Over all many fun memories were made and we hope to stay again. Thank you. "

"Great location if want to stick with a chain hotel, but still want that country feel. Had a nice view of the mountain ridges to the east and the mountain gap. Room was very clean and spacious. Would stay here more often for hiking in the nearby state forests but the rates are usually much higher due to nearby PSU"

"This property is gorgeous. Mountain views? Check. Beautiful waterfront views? Check. Super clean, well equipped, beautiful home? Check. I booked this property to celebrate my birthday with my former husband and our kids (and their significant others). The hot tub was a hit, of course. But the home itself was so inviting and cozy. The property owners were great, and checked in without being overbearing, like some other places I’ve stayed. I absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to relax, fish or spend time with loved ones.Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the stellar bird watching opportunities. 10/10 spot. "
