"Went for the weekend with my husband. Great location, B&B was clean well presented, breakfasts were great. Barry looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Only think i would say is all the bedrooms are located upstairs so be prepared. Will definitely be going back, maybe in the summer. "

"Room was small but very tidy, it had everything we needed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but ok for one night. The view was amazing, high over other houses the countryside stretched for miles. Don’t book if you don’t like heights. Unfortunately there was something making a noise all night (heating, A/C, water) I don’t know what but it sounded like a heart beat all night long and kept me awake. "I like the way they combine modern convenience with this very old building. I thought the decor in the rooms attempted to achieve this combination but it was a bit bland overall. Internet connection was great, and appreciated. Some of my party wanted to stay up late….we were staying in preparation for a funeral the next day, which was taxing for all of us …staying up late was not welcomed by the staff on duty, and all the lights were turned off outside which made it a bit treacherous when...

"The place is under new management who offered a warm welcome, a clean room, done up the place as best they could. The place still has a few issues from being taken over eg shower not draining well and a new mattress due but the new team are trying hard to make a go of it and are trying to make good."
