"A beautiful house. Perfect for our annual family Christmas trip. Plenty of room to relax, lots of comfy seating in the cosy living room. The children loved the playroom. We had a couple of power cuts due to the bad weather but the host was in contact with us straight away to give us updates and the issue was fixed really quickly. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. "We stayed in July 2024 as a group of 13 (age range was teenagers to adults) + 2 dogs. Location is great with a good range of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance from the house and main attractions of Windermere a short drive away. 5 en-suite bathrooms were much appreciated given we were 4 separate families. Also a table we could all sit at at the same time also fab! Hot tub also appreciated!"
