"Had a great experience at this resort. Well located to explore both sides of the island, Coconut marketplace was a 6-8 minute walk or a 1 minute drive. Property was well maintained and the kids loved the pool and hot tub (pool was a little chilly for me). The only downside was the beach isn’t swimmable at all, was nice to watch the sunrise or drink a morning coffee on but the rock shelf that was just a few feet in from the water edge made it impossible to swim in or around. The island has so many different beaches as options it wasn’t an issue for us at all. Staff was friendly and helpful also. They even have a couple pool tables and a shuffle board table that were a nice option when we were looking to escape the sun for a few minutes. Overall this was a excellent experience and definitely worth the price."

Pono Kai Resort Kaua'i Beach-Front Condo

First time in Kauai

"We absolutely loved the Pono Kai Resort and the condo unit we stayed in. The location was excellent, the view was stunning, the condo was very clean & uncluttered, the promenade along the beach was perfect and Kapa'a Old Town was a great place to shop, eat, browse or just plain stroll. The accessibility to the other shores made the location ideal. Staying at Pono Kai is definitely a "do-over"."

"This was indeed a remarkable treasure on The Garden Isle. It was a perfect stay and I appreciated having such a wonderful option RIGHT ON THE BEACH! The owners were extremely helpful throughout the process. Centrally located and walkable to a lot of great coffee and dining options (and two grocery stores), I hope to be able to return to paradise some day. Mahalo!"
