"The friendly staff greeted me at the door, spoke enough english so check-in was easy and quick. They then showed me around and proceeded to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs to my room, above and beyond customer service - as with everywhere in Japan. A nice quiet accommodation with an instant friendly warmth when you walk through the door. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here."

"My stay at Stella was amazing. The host, Shuji, was kind enough to make himself available for when I arrived, to make sure the check in process was smooth. The room was spacious and clean. Although men only had one shower to share (there is more than one men’s only toilet), I never waited to use it, nor did I make anyone else. "町家を改装したゲストハウスということで、太い梁が見えるつくりになっていたり、照明が行灯風になっていたり、室内が和風で統一された空間になっています。古い建物を利用していて、それでいて清潔感があり、木の温もりを感じることができます。 客室について、ドミトリーでも障子で仕切られているため、プライバシーが保てます。 場所について、新潟駅からBRTに乗り、古町バス停から徒歩10分ほどでゲストハウスに着きます。位置がやや分かりにくいので、地図やゲストハウスのウェブサイトを見て確認したほうがいいと思います。周囲の古町はお洒落なカフェ等があり、若い人が街を盛り上げようとしているのが伝わってきました。特にゲストハウスお手製のマップは必見です。"

"一泊の利用です。 湯涌温泉が、試験的に金沢駅から送迎バスを運行している期間だったので、帰りだけ利用させていただきました。 お宿では、おいしいコーヒーを300円でいただけます。 温泉チケットが2枚いただけて、1箇所は徒歩数分のところにあり、もう1箇所はオーナーが車で連れて行ってくれました。 どちらもとってもよいお湯でした！ 食事が心配でしたが、高尾食堂さんが近くにあるので大丈夫でした。 朝食は、お宿でにゅうめんとコーヒーを500円でいただけます。 お天気がよければ、星空を見に行ったり、季節ならきのこ狩りに連れて行ってくれたりもするそうです。 また、季節のいい時に行きたいです。"

"The location was great for us. Supermarket nearby, and within walking distance to Katamachi for restaurants & bars.The host met us and explained a bit about the apartment. There were easy-to-understand printed instructions in both in English and Japanese for the appliances and other amenities. The host arranged for a parking spot behind the building for our entire stay. Well worth what we paid for our stay in Kanazawa. We would love to stay here again in the future."
