"Our entire experience was fantastic. The rooms are lovely, the garden/grounds are impeccably well taken care of, and the staff (including the owners) were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious (as was their special brand of organic Costa Rican coffee) and the coconut marg was a hit. It is an easy walk to the beach and shops/restaurants. We will be booking again. "

"This resort has seen better days! Most of the structures are older and have not been kept in good repair. Wood decking around pool area is coming loose and is hazardous. Pool itself needs repairs. Rooms are more rustic but have modern combo locks on dorrs. our lock malfunctioned, so we were upgraded to the deluxe "house". This was much bigger and better with a full kitchen, and was further from the main road which meant it was quieter. staying in units near the road would be very loud. Staff was...

"This was our last stop on a week long trip and couldn’t have had a better experience. The staff was amazing helping us with finding good restaurants to eat at as well as activities to do in Samara. "Really enjoyed the space for all 11 of us (ages6-45) It was perfect to have the extra casita for the kids and the pool was perfect! We loved how close we were to playa carillo and the little hotel next door was great - service, food, friendliness- all excellent! We booked shuttles through Samara rentals and it was a breeze.
