"We had a great stay at the Novotel Alster. It was our first visit to Hamburg. The hotel was clean and always smelt lovely. The staff were nice and everything requested was brought up straight away. The breakfast offering was fresh and lovely and I really liked the fresh lemon and ginger tea bar. You are on the door step of the under/overground which was fantastic and about 12 minutes away from the gorgeous town centre. I had no issues and look forward to coming and staying here again. "This is a very small hotel with no more than 20 rooms (I guess) in a 1910 built elegant building. Street parking was busy but luckily I got one right in front of hotel entrance. Very quite and beautiful neighborhood. "

"This hotel is a room with shared bathroom on the floor. Great for people working in Hamburg. 3 minute walk to U bahn Wartenau. You must change own bed sheets and towels. They change the bin only."
