The view from the cottage is over rural farm land and out to the Shorebird Coast, Firth of Thames and the Coromandel ranges beyond. The moment I arrived from central Auckland I felt myself start to relax. Barry was very friendly and helpful. "Don't book this place. I had no communication from the hosts at all. Two days prior to my stay I messaged through the app wanting to know check in details. No reply. Morning of my stay I text messaged, called numerous times and emailed. Again, no reply. Turned up to the house to see if I could check in but no luck. There was a car in the driveway maybe they were pretending not to be home. Very very disappointing."
