"What a nice experience at this boutique hotel! The location is awesome (in Santa Marta Centro ).You can even take the blue bus from the airport for 2,500 COP & just get off before the end of the line, at the intersection with Calle 18.The hotel is just 10 m away from the main road , on the left. Totally secured, super clean , excellent service. Adriana was the one who checked me in,she is absolutely the best employee anyone can have. Super polite,humble,respectful and always smiling. Every time I had a question she was happy to help. Fast wifi,hot water,AC & very good quality cosmetics.No TV in the rooms. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Very quiet at night . The hotel is walking distance from all the restaurants ( just make left ) & the sea boardwalk . I felt very safe at night. The streets in the area are a little dirty, but the hotel is beautiful. Locals very helpful,from the bus driver,to the hotel and stores employees.There are 2 supermarkets across the street & everything you need is very affordable. Including cosmetics, mosquito spays & sunscreen. Pharmacy across the street too, to buy Dramamine if you take a boat tour to Tayona ( a must, waves are very high). 10 min walking to the Marina, for your tours. Maria was also very helpful,by calling my next hotel in Minca regarding transportation. Luca speaks perfect English & is very friendly.Ok breakfast. One suggestion: AC units should NOT be above beds! Highly recommend! "

"I was referred to stay at Hotel Carolina,,and was not disappointed the whole building is unique and wonderful ,i personally loved the rooftop pool ,you will understand why,, the staff was terrific,close to everything in the Historic section and Marina ,,George V from St Petersburg Fl"
