"Lovely home on the river. The outdoor porch is a wonderful place for early morning coffee or an evening dinner. Two small parks are within walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet. You do not have to go up any stairs to enter the property or while you are on the property. The fire pit looked amazing, but we did not light a fire due to the current drought conditions and high winds. Close to many attractions in the valley and minutes from Harrisonburg and JMU and EMU."

"The house was immaculate upon arrival. Very surprising as it is nestled right into the woods so you would expect to be some bugs or dust/dirt from in and out of the doors. But, there was none. I loved the privacy of the location, but it was a short drive to everything. The outdoor space was really nicely set up and the hot tub is a great feature for the relaxing atmosphere we were looking for. Absolutely would recommend and will likely book again! "We had a great time here. Master bedroom is great and has a good mattress. Back deck is peaceful. Several Roku TVs around the house. And various games for the kids were found in the loft which was a nice touch."

"Property was cute and quaint. Only thing we missed out on was the goat on the photo or some cows in the backyard that other reviewers mentioned. I think it was simply timing not on our side! But kids were looking forward to seeing animals. Jena has put a TON of time into providing resources for her visitors. Brewery nearby (Alpine Goat) was one of the best we’ve been to. Fantastic location!!!"
