This has nothing to do with the property but it is significant enough to mention. The area is packed full of poultry farms and when driving anywhere in the area, there is the worst smell you will ever smell in your life! "This cottage was the perfect place for us! It's in a very quiet neighborhood near a park that has a trail by the river and plenty of picnic tables. There is a grocery store nearby, good restaurants and just about anything else you would need. The house was spotless and we arrived to find snacks, and milk, eggs and butter already in the fridge. We highly recommend!"

"We only had three days to pack in as much outside time as we could, and this lovely house was a perfect base. It was an easy drive to Shenandoah National Park, Harrisonburg and Grand Caverns. We cooked for ourselves and the kitchen had everything we needed. We grilled outside and had a lovely fire in the fire pit. Everything was wonderful!"

"This little cottage was very clean and cozy. It is far off the road but close to a lot. A great location for Skyline drive. Good eats nearby. I would recommend an SUV, a sedan might bottom out on the road coming in. I gave 4 stars overall because of the latrine.. It is a compost toilet and there is an odor. The flies were bad because of this. Don’t plan to do a lot of cooking. Pots pans utensils were limited. We cooked steaks on the gri and our forks and knives bent trying to cut them. We have...

"Everything as described. The cabin was immaculate, and appeared to be almost brand new. Had pots, pans, plates, cups, microwave, and two plate burner top. As advertised you’ll need to bring your own bedding/towels. Wife and I have already agreed on a date to come back. Thanks for allowing dogs as well!"

"We had a hard time finding the place, but thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was well built. It was a total throw-back to the 1970's. We mostly enjoyed star-gazing... the sky was so clear and full of stars. Great time! "
