"Outstanding place. Very rustic, delicious food, great sevice and immaculate accommodation. The only downside is the noise of the traffic when you are staying in the roof rooms as there is little sound insulation. Take earplugs and you will sleep soundly!"

"We arrived later than normal, but it was no trouble; we were shown to our room as though it was perfectly ordinary. Room was lovely - warm and spacious with a most comfortable bed. Everything you could wish for was supplied. Only possible downside was the rather transparent blinds and curtains - which could be a problem in the summer. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with a selection of cereals to start, all served by delightful and attentive staff. Thank you; we will be back!"

"Loved the place. It was right next door to Oxburgh Hall where we wanted to visit. The weather was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Staff were attentive and the breakfast was probably the best we've had. Couldn't finish it all. It was very tasty. The only criticism we have and it's something that would take very little to rectify was the housekeeping side of things. "A great one night stay! We didn't venture outside of the hotel much but it was really nice having our own external front door. The room was amazing with a lovely bathroom. One thing to note... No radiator in the bathroom, just a heated towel rail. So the bathroom was cold. But plenty of radiators in the rest of the room. We were also lacking a kettle in the room and found the coffee machine a bit of a faff to use. Oh... And the smallest TV in the world. Made watching 1% Club almost impossible 😂...

"The room looked ok but on closer inspection not so good! Bathroom had mould in the tile grout in the shower and the remaining bathroom was bare plaster. The toilet seat was not attached properly. The bathroom had some sort of sewage maceration system that would go off every hour throughout the night! Nobody knew how the tv worked!! Four remotes for 1 tv!! "We loved how this is genuinely a family friendly trip. We didn't feel uncomfortable with our kids having fun. There's good soundproofing between the rooms, the only place there's a tiny bit of noise leakage is through the door which is very normal in any hotel! We had fun in the swimming pool and the breakfast had a good selection so the kids enjoyed it and that made our lives easier. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and good with kids. We found the location perfect for day trips to BeWilderwood, Roarr and about 40mins to see the seals on the beach. There's a new bug zoo nearby too and Norwich castle but we didn't make it there. We had a brilliant time."
