"Owners obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making this a lovely and comfortable place to stay. We were able to witness spectacular sunsets from the the deck surrounding our tent. Be aware that this is dark country, so a local rooster will wake you up early! Only reasons for the 4 stars above: one of the restrooms was out-of-order, so we did not get private restroom as advertised. It wasn’t a big deal, though. "We so much enjoyed our two night's stay at Rainey and Jeff's campground and can't wait to return. Upon arrival, Rainey showed us around the campground, led us to our adorably decorated yurt and invited us to join the campfire later that evening for gourmet smores. "Beautiful view. Hard to overstate how gorgeous it is. Host provides a lot of helpful mod-cons that we didn't expect. Only major issue is ticks! If you bring a pet, do not let it stray from stone driveways and make sure it's up to date on preventive meds. Our (always leashed) dog must have brushed some high grass on walking trails on property and had more ticks on her than I have ever seen at once. "

"The area and location is semi-secluded and close to the state park. The property is clean and well maintained. The outside furniture is unwelcoming and needs to be upgraded. The bedroom does not have heat so it gets alittle cold. Overall the place is nice but overpriced based on what is provided. "
