"Jasper is a great host - he is thoughtful and attentive. They clean the rooms and change towels every day - personally, I appreciated the big bath towels! The area is a quiet residential area AND really close to the metro and trams, making everything accessible. It is really close to Zuid station, which is a straight shot from Schiphol airport. I would recommend this little gem to anyone. "

"This property was centrally located so that everything in Amsterdam was a short walk away. The host David was so welcoming! The stairs getting to the rooms are no joke, but I knew that going in. Some reviewers have complained about them but Davids's property description is straightforward and indicates the property is not handicap accessible so do your homework and don't underestimate it. Our stay was wonderful, and we would absolutely book here again."

"Conveniently located within walking distance of the historic city centre. Second floor apartment within a traditional narrow canal-front townhouse. It is accessed up communal steep staircase from a main front door and is annexed to the main hotel next door. The apartment overlooks a very picturesque canal, which is the best feature together with the sizeable open plan living / dining / kitchen area. It has a comfortable double bedroom and a wet room. The kitchen area could use some minor repairs...

"The place was great. It was very convenient and we were able to walk to wherever we needed. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I would say that if you’re a light sleeper this may not be the spot for you. You can definitely hear the owners above the room when they’re walking and coming down the stairs in the morning, but if that doesn’t bother you (didn’t bother us) it’s a great place to stay! "

"Had an amazing stay at the Blossom House! Very welcoming and accommodating hosts with excellent recommendations. Location of the room could not be better with everything you need within walking distance and beautiful Jordaan area on the doorstep. The Perfect stay, thank you very much!"

Breakfast was at a local cafe about 150 yards away and was good, bagels with omelette or BLT with coffee and juice ticked the boxes for me or many other bagel options for those with other tastes. "Beautiful room with excellent facilities. Very handy for the centre of Amsterdam and easy to get to from the airport. Trams every 4 minutes to the centre. Gerry Petra’s husband was great and told us a lot about the area and could not have been more helpful. The house is perfect to stay in in a quiet street right next to Vondelpark. We shall definitely come back and look forward to doing so very soon. An altogether wonderful experience. "

"Flavio is a gracious host and we had a lovely stay at his home. Clean, quiet and the location was perfect for us with an Albert Heijn just down the street. We'd definitely come here on holiday again. "

"Great location on a lake a short 30 minute drive to Amsterdam. The apartment was perfect for our family of five after a two week trip through Europe. Clean, spacious and attentive stafff. The restaurant on property was just what we needed when we arrived. Lots of other dining optoins in the area as well. At reecption the staff was very helpful with tips of traveling into Amsterdam."

"This is the place to stay if you have a family. Kids will love this place and the best part a huge mall and access to tram. You are basically in the middle of it all. We have stayed here for a week but will be a frequent visitor. The people are friendly and very keen to serving you. There is no other place that delivers on comfort, access, and ease of stay! Also great eatery near by including some Michelin reviewed! "
