"Very friendly and helpful staff. Bar/restaurant area is very warm and welcoming. We stayed in bedroom A3, very spacious room with all the mod cons needed. A few points of constructive feedback, the plug-in air freshener was not appreciated. I suspect this is used to mask the sewage smell from the ensuite which is particularly strong whenever you use the shower! The smell of the air freshener was suffocative especially whilst trying to sleep! Unfortunately the mattress was not very comfortable,...

"Love the quirky historic artefacts displayed around - suits the age of the property. Spacious and really clean room and bathroom, super comfortable bed. Great breakfast too and such reasonable pricing. Nice welcome and very helpful staff. Conveniently close to The Robin for our gig. Glad to have found this hotel and will definitely be returning."
