"Was looking for an off the beat farm stay, and this property was the perfect fit. It was so tranquil and out of the world! Our group absolutely loved the evening times bbq and around the outdoor fire pit. Kids had a great time together and can't stop telling stories about it. Such a nice holiday, thank you so much."

"We had such a relaxing time at Chris and Fran's cottage. It was well stocked and cozy. When I needed some measuring spoons for a recipe, they delivered a spare set to me! Very responsive and helpful hosts. We loved sitting by the fireplace and having a bonfire outside. I hope to return again someday! "

"Lovely place to stay- peaceful and safe. Easy parking, wifi in an otherwise township 'dead zone'. Close to everything with lovely friendly host and staff. Dinners available and a neat BBQ area. Just a note: Go prepared with your own water and bbq supplies as the closest towns are both over an hour away and the small village shop isnt really that well stocked."

"We loved our stay on the Red Rattler, it is so unique and has everything you could need. The enclosed fully fenced / gated verandah was amazing for our little one to safely wonder around. It was comfortable and cosy. We will definitely be back one day. Well done to the owners on creating such a unique place to stay. "

"A way to get off the grid with a feeling of comfort. Warm water and warm heater. The outdoor fire was a treat and at night the darkness was without comparison. Just wonderful.Lots to do in close by Hill end. Recommend pre booking gold fossiking and the the mine!"

"We booked this as only accommodation we could get for a touch tournament in Mudgee. Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy the serenity and of the accommodations to its fullest. i would love to go back and be able to enjoy the facilities that are provided. Ideal getaway for couples or group of friends. will definitely return."

"A great holiday's definition varies for different people. If you're tired of city life and want a peaceful corner of the world to meditate and disconnect from the digital world, this is a must-stay! Fernando is an amazing host and an inspiring farmer you won't get tired of listening to. You can learn about all the amazing work he has done on his farm with his beautiful wife. Make sure to get in touch with him prior to meeting if you want to try some of the yummy pork sausages he makes and get latest update on their produces. There are heaps to enjoy on his farm – lots of gorgeous goats, alpacas, pigs, and chickens. It's roughly a 40-minute drive to the nearest grocery store and petrol station, but we didn't mind as we took all we needed with us."
